Silas Candiolli is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 16 years of experience building impactful, scalable systems across the tech industry. Currently at PayPal, Silas has worked with organizations such as BV Bank, Sicredi, and Straumann Group, delivering complex backend solutions with a strong focus on Java, Spring, Quarkus, SQL, and Linux. Beyond his technical expertise, he is deeply passionate about knowledge sharing and community building, serving as a host of the Java Maple Leafs community. A collaborative tech lead and AI enthusiast, Silas believes that great teams are built on trust, open communication, and mutual growth—because, as he puts it, team success is his success.
